The terrible region layout, abusive HM requirements, awful game speed and general lack of innovation make it the weakest region by far, and gen 4 the weakest generation. because ORAS was done by a nostalgiafag who made a game HE wanted instead of what the fans wanted. The difference between Morimoto's philosophy and the development of ORAS is ridiculous. Morimoto was all about adding things to improve the experience, making the remakes the quintessential titles. Ohmori didn't want that because it "hindered the experience of the originals". ORAS is not only overshadowed by Emerald but it even fucks things up Ruby and Sapphire did better (Sky Pillar has been gimped to be more "cinematic"). The point of a remake is to make the original obsolete, all ORAS does is make me wish I was playing emerald with a physical/special split patch

that and the interview they did where they said they didn't include it because kids wouldn't like it and find it too hard. As if the Battle Frontier wasn't a huge deal when it was introduced and experiencing the Hoenn frontier again wasn't one of the biggest draws to the remakes, a straight up middle finger to the fans that showed just how lazy Game Freak has become.
