Rebuilding Sinnoh to accommodate Gen 7's non-grid based system would be interesting but I also imagine them simplifying the roads and such.

A D/P/P remake would literally be the worst thing to ever happen. Nothing was remotely good about the original, neither were the new evolutions.

Personally, I'd prefer to see a Pokemon Z or a new Kanto region remake, it's a much more interesting concept

Isn't that the point of a remake though? Remakes are suppose to change the original game/region. I remember reading an article where one of the creators said that it's pointless to remake the same game over and over again therefore they add new things and sometimes change up the formula like they did with oras and bw2 but at the same time retain some of the nostalgia.

It applies to every remake. If FRLG and BW2 and can make me like Unova and Kanto then im sure a Sinnoh remake may help others would didn't like it perhapes like it.
