Which 3DS Pokemon game has the most catchable Pokes in it? I

I'm pretty sure that XY has the largest variety of catchable mons, but ORAS has more legendaries if you're more into that for whatever reason.

Why they excluded the National Dex anyway? It was a staple since Gen 3.
Are they trying to make it look like there's LESS pokemon for newcomers, so they don't feel overwhelmed to try to complete the dex?

Also, XY has the biggest ammount of catchable Pokemon by far, ORAS is pretty similar actually... Once you defeat the last gym a LOT of Pokemon of others regions appears in Hoenn, so it becomes more similar to XY quantity-wise, obviously this is pretty late game, so think what you want of it.

Yes, between Kalos and all the fossils you can catch 470 of 721 Pokémon but to catch the rest in the Friend Safari you need to exchange friend codes and Friend Safaries are pretty dead nowadays.
