The exact same. I also used Aquarachnid for a while. I liked it, but I prefer to use Pokemon with a variety of coverage moves, so Golisopod wound up being a better fit for me.

What I do is I just farm up 18 eggs and leave them in the sauna with 10 hours worth of beans. Then just before I go to bed, and just after I get up, I hatch all the eggs and put in some more. If I'm feeling adventurous, I'll ride around and build up my egg stock during the day. It's a relatively low-maintenance way to never not be hatching eggs. Sooner or later that chance is going to go your way.

I named my Cutiefly Jamboree, after that scuttlebug meme. It's a nice name, I think.

I had no intention of using it, I encountered one in the wild and remembered there was an NPC looking for one. But it was so cute so I kept it.

I remember it surprised me how good it was with Pollen Puff spam, but it didn't really do anything that my Primarina didnt do better.

I think the general use of it as an insult is just not wanting every pokemon's final form to be the same. I actually used to use that as a reason I preferred pokemon over digimon. Digimon almost always become furbait or catgirls as their top form. I liked that pokemon had some variety. Also prefer monster/animal designs in general.

Here though, I honestly just really adored the idea of finally getting a decent cute bug type, or bug type in general. Then it losing some of the bug was disappointing.
It's like... I don't know. Finally getting that dolphin pokemon some people want, the first form being similar to a babymon, so you hope for something a little cooler but still happy and appealing. Then it just suddenly becomes a full blown mermaid. Half the appeal is gone.

Playthrough? Cutiefly was a cutie. I was suspicious of it at first knowing it was a parasite but then it evolved into the cutest thing ever and oddly very useful. Casualfags on /vp/ whined and moaned about totem lurantis being the so called hardest thing every but my over-leveled be friend brought her down in two hits. From there my little friend only got more useful since for some reason he was the only pokemon in my party with a status move. My little bee/notbee friend went far beyond anything I expected and became my favorite bug this gen besides the two UB.

Ribombee/Oricorio is a thing too in doubles. Ribombee sets up Quiver Dance for Oricorio, creating a strong lead that can attack and buff at the same time. With Sweet Veil Ribombee stops Spore or the occasional Z-Hypnosis, or you can use the standard Shield Dust to ignore Fake Outs targeted on Ribombee and not worry about that Flamethrower burning you and invalidating your Focus Sash.

And of course even with the Quiver Pass set there's the matter of what you pass to.
