GF introduces New held item called Cohesion Pad
Effect: Does not allow user to switch out of battle until it has fainted.

>Non damaging phasing moves like Roar and Whirlwind do not force a switch
>Damaging phasing moves like Dragon Tail and Circle Throw will force a switch out
>Item can be tricked, even from a Suction Cups pokemon.
How does this change the metagame?

make it so you can switch out your own pokemon and the item effect is rewrote to disallow your opponent from switching out your pokemon in any way and you have a more interesting and useful item. the way you have it now? no
