The "UU Council" ultimately decided that it wasn't worth keeping dry passing at the cost of constant highly-specific Baton Pass related bans.
No matter how many clauses they added, some dumb shit always arose to make Baton Pass teams stupid as hell, so they said fuck it and banned it outright.

I can't say I blame them, because increasingly specific bans were what caused the Weather Wars in Gen V.

I have Tyranitar as my lead and I've used a specially defensive spread before, but right now I'm using a physically defensive one. Even without investment it still takes special hits under Sandstorm and the physical investment gives it amazing mixed bulk.
It's especially great with Ice Beam because fuck Lando.

Look, the only way Lando T won't be mandatory on teams is if they make 3 Pokemon that wall it next Gen that are still good outside of walling Lando T and make a Hazard that damages Pokemon that use U-Turn or Volt Switch to switch out for 1/8th health
