No need to freak out, my dear anons. I, too, remember Venusaur having a small stub. And I remember it being EXACTLY like Blastoise's. And I did not remember Blastoise having a stub.
Putting two and two together, it's clear I mixed up Blastoise and Venusaur's butts. It's probably the same for the rest of you too. Can't say it's anyone's fault. They're both equally irrelevant and shit, so can't blame if you mixed them up a bit.

What are you guys smoking? Venusaur has never had a tail, stubby or otherwise. None of the Bulbasaur line has ever had a tail. I have the original Tomy figures from 1998 and there are no tails. Pikachu never had a black tail-tip, either.
