The games now come in "Episodes" to step up the quality of the games and the story. Every month a new part of the region is revealed and unlocked all together with new characters, pokemon etc. This has the drawback of plotholes, designs being scrapped and shit randomly being dropped but it just works I guess. The games also won't get an official translation until like 20 years after, so enjoy duwang tier translations or/and pic related. Of course a lot of characters and Pokemon would now be musical/cultural references, jojo references included. The kids are gonna be pretty sad though as Pokemon will now be aimed towards players in their mid twenties but at least /vp/ is gonna orgasm over it. Oh and the main protagonist is gonna like donuts and stuff with fillings I guess.
