I really like vespiqueen. It has solid recovery, phat bug type stab, decent bulk, and it learns power he which is cool it learns a move super effective against its many weaknesses. I thoroughly enjoyed having one on my team in platinum and white 2. I think its a good bug type, maybe not volcarona good but its still pretty rad, desu

I just double checked, and yeah you're right. It's right on par with (regular) scizor in terms of physical defense but has more special defense. It's still A LOT squishier than Forretress, but U-Turn is more reliable than Volt-Switch, and roost is completely bae so it still would find a niche.

Killer Queen is one of my favorite Stands and Vespiquen is a mon that I personally want to get a buff to make it viable as well as potentially being in my top 15.
Bug/Steel (as it's body acts like a fortress), Bug/Dark (aesthetic) would be better typings, Queenly Majesty would make it better and it fits thematically, levitate also works for it especially on a potential Bug/Steel type version as it'd be immune to ground type now or Magic Guard because buffs, coupled with some increased BST would give it a niche in RU or low OU.
Also this aint subtle Bad Company-kun.

vespiquen is pretty cool design-wise, but really hampered by shit typing.

I used this thing on showdown in mid XY for a while and it wasn't as bad as I thought it'd bee. This bitch is fat as shit.
