feel like this little bundle of coding needs some love
Porygon-Z should've been Normal/Bug type.

Good thinking, good sir! Maybe for a plausible Mega Evolution? Hey, you never know. +1 Internets to you!
I love how Z-Conversion works. All you need to buff Porygon-Z is coverage moves, which is pretty unique among pokemon that could use a few buffs.

perfect 10/10 line
Well if you really want it
Anybody ever use a Porygon or its evolutions in a playthrough? I've been thinking of restarting Platinum since it just hands you one relatively early.
>>32368450
that or just give it boomburst and watch it no longer care about coverage
but at the very least it should get flamethrower as tri-attack is often presented as one of its signature moves and it already has thunderbolt and ice beam
>>32368586
I haven't, but I want to.
I think Platinum is pretty much the only game where you can get Porygon and its evolution items before the League, so I guess I'll replay Sinnoh at some point.
>>32368586
It's defenses aren't anything too spectacular, but it has decent Speed and 135 Special Attack to make up for it.
>>32368348
They all should have been normal/ghost.
>>32371329
Why?
>>32371329
Normal/Electric would've been more fitting
>>32371329
I don't see the conection between computers/artificial pokemon and ghosts. Maybe electric, steel or bug would've made more sense.

Played intentionally, putting any of P-2's competative EV distributions onto a basic Porygon should make it strong enough to fight through most of the games on its own. Porygon-Z and 2 with proper EV investment are overkill.
I know this because I did Porygon runthroughs of both HeartGold and Black 2.

I can't stop staring at this gif. I can't decide if it is employing "squeeze-n-stretch" cartoon technique, or just modeling the bouncing of the shapes really well.
I don't get porygon's typing, why not an electric type cause you know.. computers?
>>32368348
Porygon more like PoryTANK
>>32368348
Why is og porygon more green on its "legs", nose and stomach when the others are more blue?
>>32372083
it's older, the paint has faded
my favorite sweeper desu
>>32368856
You can get Porygon pretty early in Blue if you save almost all your money and buy coins at the game corner and then just trade the coins for one.
Porygon2 isn't really that good in Pokemon GO.
Didn't stop me from powering mine up to max and using it on gyms, though. It's actually been doing a decent job holding them down, too.
>>32375333
You can get tons of money if you exploit nugget bridge if you need money. Lose to the grunt like ten times to get nuggets. This does not work in the remakes.
>>32368586
Yes, Porygon is my favorite, so I try to make Porygon my 'starter' in every playthrough. I've done it in almost every game in the series.
I usually just trade in an egg from another game in the same gen, but gen 3 had some stupid trade restrictions. You can get around them if you have Colosseum, though, because Colosseum loads its own trade program that has no restrictions.

Or Overheat
Anyone have that pic of Porygon-Z drinking coffee with computer icons?
porygon? more like... poryGONE because its bad
>>32375653
I've never heard of that. Cool.
Porygon2 or Z?
>>32368385
Holy shit, go back to Lereddit and never ever come back, you incredibly irritating nigger.
>>32376545
neither
Porygon-Z should be Normal/Electric with Levitate
>>32375759
>>32375731
porygon really should get overheat
and with him a lot of electric pokemon as well, god knows the average electric type desperately needs coverage moves
I've been thinking about running a Z-Conversion P2, just so it doesn't get fucked by Knock-Off.
Though I wonder what could help it not get forced out by Roar or Whirlwind?
>>32377186
Singles? Doubles? Youre more likely going to be fucked by Toxic than anything, though obviously if you put on enough pressure you can trade up. And you probably still don't out speed a lot of fighting threats that can wreck you. Idk man
