D/P/Pt had a lot of issues, but holy fuck, the music was not one of them. Best music of any gen, hands down.
I'm replaying Platinum right now and every fucking track is 10/10.

Too bad these games were *FIGURATIVELY* unplayable. A remake with the same music and region might actually be pretty good.

the remake is coming this year, anon

Elaborate? Not buttmad or anything, just wondering what you mean. I played platinum once and it seemed okay.

Now play any game that runs above 10fps to see what I'm talking about.

Then you played the right version then. It's not Platinum that's the problem, its D/P. I tried playing through them once and they were pretty bland. Platinum made a subtle but big difference that D/P needed

Now that you mention it I vaguely remember slowdowns. No way it was that serious though.
>>32368188
It doesn't make it unplayable but to me it made it really annoying and really hurt the experience.

2bh the pros of this game outweigh the cons

The music was nice, but it never left an impression on me. I remember most of the music from every game, even some spin offs that aren't MD, but there are only three tracks I remember from Sinnoh.
The remake music is going to be a travesty.
Sure, the games are heavily flawed (lack of fire types, even in Platinum. Bad pacing, way too slow) but still a very enjoyable experience all around.
My only gripe with the D/P/Pt soundtrack is that the midi soundfont grates on my ears. The songs themselves are alright but I prefer Late gen IV/Gen V music.

No, fuck you, D/P might have been slow as molasses, but it was still playable and had a fine ass soundtrack.Except the battle/trainer themes. Those were kinda bland.

>Except the battle/trainer themes. Those were kinda bland.
Leave.
>>32368747
It was playable. When it first came out and was fresh. There is no way I can sit there and watch those HP bars crawl anymore and the time in and out of battle.
Its the most important part about the game - I don't know how Game Freak fucked it up that much.
>>32368173
Eh. If it goes the same direction as ORAS, I don't want a remake. I think the music is already near perfect, but I know they'll have to change it, and I'm sure they'll make the game easier and add a bunch of unnecessary changes, and remove good ones.
>>32368001
One of the only good DPPt songs since it uses the few non-awful tones in the soundfont. Here's hoping that if a remake ever happens it fixes the soundtrack. Which shouldn't be hard to do, quite frankly.

Lake and Dreamyard are the best comfy themes in all of the series.

And it's still playable to this day, you just raised your standards higher.
It's the exact same problem as RGBY, you're just too spoiled for choice now.

?
I remember hearing the night version of the theme and being relaxed until this part, for seemingly no reason it ends on an ominous note, like the beginning of the Old Chateau track.
>TFW probably the sinnoh remake will have remade music very bellow the quality of the original
