The next games would be called Pokémon Amethyst and Pokémon Quartz and would take place in the Tchau region based off of Brazil. In case you didn't know, "tchau" is Portuguese for "good bye", hence the name of the region. There are so many neat things GameFreak could cover like cauboi culture as well as the Amazon. Pokémon fusion would be the new main gimmick after Mega Evolution and Z-moves. Two specific Pokémon could fuse together using new items involving fusion cables and a fusion conduit. You could connect two fusion cables together to form a fusion conduit which would allow two Pokémon to become one. Although they would still only have one ability, fused Pokémon would receive a much higher boost in their BST than Mega Evolved Pokémon and have three types as well as being able to have a total of five moves in their moveset instead of the standard four. Fusing two Pokémon would not occur during battle but rather outside of battle. After fusing two Pokémon, the fusion would be able to learn even more moves by leveling up. This new "grand movepool" would consist of moves from both fused Pokémons' movepools. Let's use Charicario as an example. By linking the Charizard cable with the Lucario cable into the fusion conduit, you could use Charicario, the fusion of Charizard and Lucario, in battle. Charicario would be a triple-typed Fire/Dragon/Fighting Pokémon. Some moves it would be able to learn would be Fire Blast and Close Combat. The only drawback with fused Pokémon would be that they would each count as having one Pokémon on your team, so your overall team could only consist of five Pokémon total instead of six. Obviously, this new gimmick would be at the center of the overall plot and theme of the game. The main villains would try to exploit the power of fusion for their own selfish benefits and you would have to stop them. The major twist in the story? Your mom ends up being the Tchau League Champion!
So, what do you think?

>Region is almost just a line
>>32363794
>fusion
what
>Based off of Brazil
But then you couldn't use surf without your pokemon getting poisoned. Also, you'd lose money just by talking to npcs.
> based off of Brazil
> fusions
> Charicario
> triple-typed
> Your mom ends up being the Tchau League Champion!

Why make a gen of Brazil only? Make it a LA one so you can put anything you want there. Any kind of terrain/climate, mysterious ancient civilizations, widely different areas from flooded amazon (where water blocks your way until you get the move surf) to cold mountain peaks (boulders block your way) to bush savanna (thorny bushes block your way)

Crystal Chronicles actually had both of those things as features. There was one village where if you weren't the same race as the villagers, they'd steal Gil from you every time you spoke to them, even if you were doing them a favor.

fucking Selkies
>>32363794
Yeah OP let's just keep making every generation stronger than the last that's exactly what we need after the last two gens of exactly that fucking up the meta
>>32363794
>Tchau region

>>32363794
It better has Babos in it.
>>32363794

Sounds fucking stupid but if fusions were real GF would 100% pull this shit
>>32363794
All shitty ideas but, thanks for the laughs
>>32363794
It looks amazing OP!

autism
>fusion
Do the people who suggest this not understand how fucking insane a suggestion that is?
If the fusion results in a new mon that can be used in battle, each and every fusion has to have a model. And with 802 Pokemon, if you can fuse them all, that comes to 642,402 seperate new models. That's insane.
Even if it's only fully evolved Pokemon, there's like 500-ish of those, so that's still about 250,000.
It's just logistically impossible unless it's limited to an extremely small pool of Pokemon. Even 20 fusable partners makes for 380 fusions. The numbers are just insane.
>>32363794
Fusion is just a cheap tactic to make weak mons stronger
>>32363794
>Pokémon Amethyst and Pokémon Quartz
Hum, amethyst are quartz. Why not naming it Pokémon Quartz and Pokémon Corundum ?
>>32366932
>Why not Pokémon Corundum
Because we already have Ruby and Sapphire, which are corundum.
>>32363794
We have four regions based in Japan, Why they would use whole brazil for one region?
>massive area despite most regions being based on small areas
>barely any towns
Every fucking time.
