Honestly, that was such a great moment. You see all these teams comprised of the same fucking mons all the time, same tactics, same abilities, same Earthquakes, all that shit. And then this dude shows up with a fucking Pachirisu, takes down a goddamn Mega Kangaskhan, lives a hit from a Draco Meteor, all this shit. Crowd goes completely nuts. He holds up his little plush in triumph.
I really hope we get more moments like that in the future, where someone uses a completely overlooked Pokemon and just kicks ass. There's all these competitive teams and they're all comprised of the same shit. Arcanine, Gyrados, Porygon2, Fini, Lele, Garchomp, whatever. It's so boring.

But that's the point. Since everyone is using the same mons, bringing out a different one from what's expected puts the opponents at a disadvantage, even if the mon is terrible.
