I find that the biggest problem with grass starters is that you can usually catch a grass type pretty early in most games, while Fire and Water types usually don't show up until later.

Love all those guys with all my heart. Pure bros for each game.

If we're going by first evo only, then Bulbasaur, Totodile, Treecko, Piplup, Snivy, Froakie, and Rowlet. Kind of a nice pattern of Grass and Water types. If we're going by full evolutionary lines then swap Piplup and Rowlet out for Chimchar and Litten's lines.

In a hypothetical scenario where starters were catch-able in their generation's region, where do you think you would find them?

for example: it would probably be safe to guess Torchic would be found around Mt. Pyre, and similarly, Litten might be found around Wela volcano park.

I didn't like any of the Gen 4 starters and boxed the mon as soon as possible. The designs for the final evolutions of Gen 1 and 2 are best, I prefer animal-like pokemon.
