ITT suggest changes that you haven't seen anyone else suggest
>Affection buffs can be toggled on/off, so you can play refresh without activating godmode
You can change any Pokemon's nickname regardless of OT.
Pokemon in battle will experience special effects if any of their stats exceed 1000

Every NPC/Pokemon scales with plot, or with the highest level pokemon in your party and within 5 level difference of it.
>>32338968
>he doesn't know
>>32339007
Know what?
>run away now acts like shed shell
>illuminate decreases the foe's accuracy by 10%
>not a buff, but when overgrow/blaze/torrent/swarm activate, the game lets the player know, like when you send out something with mold breaker
>>32339022
You can change mon's name regardless of OT
>he didn't nickname her Magearna
>>32339039
>Doesn't realise that Magearna takes on your OT because it is a QR event
shields down and emergency exit activation order is swapped
>>32338940
You're only allowed to use the same number of Pokémon in a battle that your opponent has.
A new option below battle style called "battle format" lets you choose between single or double battles.
Inner Focus also prevents full paralysis
Solar Power only drains health on damage, like Life Orb
>>32338940
Z abilities
>>32338940
>traveling to the alternate dimension via Solgaleo/Lunala allows you to battle yourself at the league who uses your last hall of fame team
The stat gain from EVs are scaled to BST, so weaker Pokemon get more stats from it and Pokemon with high base stats get less customization.
>>32339118
Something I'd like to see about Shields Down is doing what you said, but retaining the defences or offences of the previous form until the end of a turn. You know, so that Core Minior won't be immediately fragile and Meteor Minior won't be screwed if it gets healed before it can attack.
No guard bypasses protect and all its various clones and deals double damage
Pokemon's appearances can change depending on the EVs you invest in it
By intesting attack they look tougher, sharper, buffer
Investing HP they look bulkier, maybe chubbier
Investing Speed they will look sleeker
spA or spD will make them look wiser (somehow, idk)
stuff like that
Can be turned off for comp or pvp
>>32339416
>maybe chubbier
fuck off barafag
>>32339420
it's just a trope in RPGs being fatter makes you have more HP
Ambush mechanic: if an enemy trainer initiates battle while the player is facing away from them, then the enemy's pokemon will get to attack first in battle/get one free hit on the player's pokemon. This also applies in reverse - if player initiates combat from the back/side of an NPC, they "ambush" the enemy trainer.
When walking in grass, there's a 5% chance that the encountered mon will ambush the player.
>>32339039
>being this new
nocturnal pokemon have reduced accuracy when battling during the day, and diurnal pokemon have reduced accuracy when battling at night
>>32338940
>Wild Pokemon can reveal their natures with a special animation
>Have a second item slot inwhich said items have no battle effects, but change your Pokemon's look
>PP checker and Percentage of HP is shown under the Health Bar
>retcon regional forms with new baby pokemon that can evolve into either form based on stats similar to Tyrogue and the Hitmons
>make more branching pokemon evolution paths based on stats/gender for baby and middle stage pokemon like Kirlia, Combee, and Salandit did
>possibly retcon megas this same way, making megas occur as variants of regular evolutions based on EVs, give Mewtwo the Deoxys treatment with a strengthening laboratory experiment or something to switch forms at will
>acknowledge negative happiness besides Frustration damage by making it trigger alternative evos
Frustration is the only mechanic that uses it and it could be an alternative to every single happiness evo. Doesn't even have to be a new species; it could go Pichu-> Electric punk Pikachu with Prankster and dark type moves-> Dark/Electric biker looking Raichu or split evos like Happiny-> Chansey-> Blissey or a Ghost/Normal Saddeny or Fighting/Normal Angery depending on how high its happiness is once it hits level 30. They could even make more happiness evolutions for pokemon that already exist.
The legwork has already been done for the most part. Excluding new pokemon, they could get by with slight variations and color swaps for the happiness mechanics and the ex-megas
Rivalry just a flat boost vs same gender. No reduction vs opposite. Can even lower it to 20%.
Anticipation reduces super effective damage by 50% once after each "shudder"
Forewarn reduces the damage of the revealed move by 50% once
Hyper Cutter also prevents self-inflicted attack reduction
Leaf Guard also boosts defenses by 50% in sun
Anger Point also boosts attack by two stages if the user misses
Magma Armor also causes fire damage on contact. 1/8th, subject to type modifiers.
Forecast automatically summons weather matching the type of move used. Preemptive like Protean.
Light Metal also increases accuracy of Steel moves by 20%
Heavy Metal also increases damage of Steel moves by 20%
Unnerve prevents use of any consumable item
>>32340049
I'd like to see one of the Grass-associated sunlight abilities reduce Fire-type damage to them.
>>32340049
>heavy metal aggron's heavy slam
Changeable Zygarde - all of its formes, all of them keep Aura Break and Complete forme is possible to to pet n stuff in Refresh.
>gamefreak removes the big blue/orange effects every time an ability is triggered
Gen 3 and 4 having text boxes were fine enough
bring back the gen 1 style hyper beam animation
>>32339149
This is great, but I don't think doubles would apply well to all battles.
>>32340794
That's gen 2
>>32339328
Fuck i need that
That could have been the new "blissey base"
>>32339459
>Blissey is literally round
>Has the most HP
That seems right.
>>32339416
Damage could be visible on the Pokemon. Slash marks, maybe pinpricks for bite attacks, etc.
>>32339823
Fennekin would be the only one of the Kalos trio to not get reduced accuracy at night.
>>32342013
it was the same though, just with color
>>32339416
raising spD makes them grow facial beard ranging from stubble, a Fu Manchu, to full on wizard's beard
spA gives them a bigger head
>Poison status lowers Special Attack
>Illuminate triggers an Accuracy drop, like Intimidate
>>32343378
>Poison status lowers special attack
You monster
>>32343432
It just puts it on the same level as Burn. If it makes you feel better, Badly Poisoned doesn't cut Sp.A at all.
>>32343378
idk if that's the way to go about it, but physical attacks have too many minor drawbacks such as on hit effects or intimidate, SpA needs some too
>>32339039
Shed skin is great, also it should able you to switch when Shadowtagged or SandTrapped.
>not a buff, but when overgrow/blaze/torrent/swarm activate, the game lets the player know, like when you send out something with mold breaker.
That's a nerf.
>>32343546 Meant to >>32339033

abilities based on egg groups, retard example like
>big pond: field in which mons of the egg group water1 gets a defense boost
>big nest: same but with flying group
>geologist: boost the user attacks against mineral group monsI'd like a sableye with this one, it's far less useful than prankster, but it'd fit perfectly
shitty abilities like torrent or swarm could get a boost in this way
Overgrow and friends are now active all time
>>32338940
routes are totally re-imagined with no more tall grass and weak bullshit elevation obstacles, nor do they make supposedly densely populated and heavily urbanized areas in the futuristic pokemon world feel like literal Africa
instead they're paved roads full to the brim with cars, overleveled trainers and other obstacles that force you to utilize a network of dirt paths and nature trails alongside them where pokemon and trainers alike roam around and jump out at/chase you and attack you
followers can actually serve a purpose to scare off shitmons and scrub trainers in the overworld depending on their level
>>32343470
Burn deals less damage
>>32340049
I like these and the run away one Anon mentioned
>>32339858
>nature animations
Fund it
>>32338940
In addition to its current effect, the move Gravity prevents Flying-type moves from being super-effective.
>>32339858
I mentioned it before but I want different natures to make pokemon have slightly different animations in refresh/amie and battle. A serious or Adamant one might look more stoic in battle or uninterested in the grooming while another might be really excited to battle or be groomed.
Id also like Pokemon in the red health or even yellow to start looking more tired. Flying mons struggle to stay airborne flapping more and standing ones look more woozy and ready to fall over.
>>32346511
Low health mons have slowed down idle animations
>>32343647
Fucking this
