The main reason it is mentioned is the context of moderation here: this is one of two things against the rules being dealt with immediately, the other one being moderation criticizing. That last spamfest comes to mind, when there were like 10 threads on /vp/ left that weren't porn/scat/guro. One of them was Hunger Games. It got deleted about an hour before the spam.
