With coverage moves. Unlike hitting Ferrothorn with Flamethrower, then magically switching moves on a choice specs set without switching, hit Toxapex with Earthpower, Primarina with Liquid Voice Boomburst can just spam this one move and anything not immune to or 4x resists water (which is very uncommon) dies easily. It would only use coverage to save PP or to get some kills quicker.

Recover doesn't make sense thematically. It's cellular regeneration. It's given to psychic types because it's a brain function, animals that regenerate in real life (lizards, slugs, starfish etc) and things made mostly of liquid (jellicent, avalugg, cryogonal etc). Others are special cases like Porygon which can alter its pixels, and Accelgor which can weave more silk to repair itself.
