Moves/stats that Pokemon really should have/

Krookodile doesn't learn Fake Tears, Growlithe doesn't learn Growl, Zangoose doesn't learn Cut, Machamp doesn't learn Mach Punch, Ampharos doesn't learn Tail Glow, Flash Cannon, or Dazzling Gleam, Groudon doesn't learn Heat Crash, and Kingler doesn't learn Waterfall

I want to know why my godlike att-based thundering beast cannot make the earth tremble while a 2' tall rock ball amounting to 45.2 pounds with a flimsy 10-att can. This frustrates me very much, as earthquake is one of my favorite moves and Zekrom is one of my favorite title legendaries. It'd also make him a little more viable too.

Because a bioluminescent plankton legendary and a christmas tree alien also get it, and name aside, tail glow has pretty much become the "use your glowing body part to illuminate and raise your SpA" move. Something that is core to ampharos whole design.

Why ampharos still doesn't get it nowadays is probably more similar to why diancie neededtwo generations to get power gem despite being the literal gem pokemon, rather than the move's name having anything to do with it.

This guy should learn Dream Eater as soon as he evolves, rather than having to be taught it via TM. He IS the original dream-eating Pokémon, after all.

Thematically it doesn't make sense for Snorlax to learn Slack off since being asleep =/= lazy. It's the same reason why Komala and Musharna don't learn it despite being always sleeping.

One of the few times I wish thematic didn't get in the way of a Pokemon learn a useful move.
