I had this a week ago:
>Battle 46
>Team is Cloyster, Krookodile, Mega Gengar
>Cloyster leads, uses Shell Smash and Icicle Spears down the first pokemon
>AI sends out Garchomp
>Garchomp is apparently scarfed, outspeeds my +2 Cloyster and kills with Outrage
>I send out Krookodile to lower Garchomps attack with Intimidate
>Garchomp crits, so the attack drop is useless
>Krookodile faints
>I send out Mega Gengar
>Scarf Garchomp is confused but wins the roll
>Garchomp crits again, so the attack drop doesn't do anything again
>Gengar faints

Maybe, but my main fault was not realizing that it might be scarfed and using icicle spear instead of ice shard.
I think a +2 Ice Shard would've OHKO'd Garchomp, but I wasn't sure so I used Icicle Spear because I didn't even think about the possibility of Cloyster getting outsped in that situation.

This is why I just hack everything I want into the game. Losing because of RNG isn't fun or amusing, it's downright annoying and makes getting items all the more tedious.
