Am I the only one happy Misty isn't in movie 20, and thus

Misty will always be known as "that girl from the anime" to those 90s kids and their parents who think the anime was the main blood of the show and the games were just extra content.

If anything I'm happy that they didn't give fuel to the inevitable dumpster fire of people complaining about how they ruined her in the reboot.

Misty was easily the most forgettable gym leader in gen 1. I'm not surprised that she's only remembered for the anime.
