Ash's companions are incredibly generic looking though, too generic to be main characters. They look like COTDs from the main anime.

I felt like Sun and Moon had some of the most basic and generic base looking protagonists to date and assume it was the same reason.

Despite me really wanting sinn oh remake. Realistically speaking get looking at the number the next remake isn't gonna happen in like 3 years. 2 years if lucky.
