I'm really glad that /vp/ has mostly moved away from the Ashime idea of being a trainer where you need to be basically some kind of perma-camper in a world with no civilization. When we started doing these ages ago 90% of them may as well have been "What would you want if you were stranded on an island?".

Also, do you guys put any thought into your starting location when choosing your team?

Lt. Surge at it again. The sheet that I and the majority in this thread used has a "favorite mega" slot, so not a lot of thought has to be put into how your lication corellates to your starter, as you can fly to literally any region and all regions are known in the megaverse.

I always like to dunk into that OCdonutsteal mindset so yeah, there's some thought.For starter if its not related to the regions starters its at least a Pokemon that's native around the area of my hometown and from there every Pokemon caugh and on my team/reserves is from that region or regions I've visited. Autism was a mistake. Once I begin this shit I start digging deeper..

Not really, I set mine up thinking they've been around a while and have encountered enough wild Pokemon and trainers to trade with to fill out the roster.
