I like every fire starter except Typholosion and they are my first choice when picking a starter.

I like every water type starter but they appeal to me a little less than fire ones.

I rarely like grass type Pokemon but from the starters I like Meganium, Torterra, and Chesnaught although I rarely pick them.

As a group, yeah. I don't mind decidueye but compared to the other starters it's average-below average. Disappointing because gen 6 was a step up from gen 5 as far as starters go. A lot of the other designs are cool though.

I also find it funny how people keep comparing Delphox and Greninja to Primarina and Decidueye respectively, when I feel like Delphox and Decidueye suffer from the same exact problem of looking cool in concept/artwork, but looking shallow or outright worse in 3D.
Primarina has been consistently shitting the other two Alola starters when it comes to 3d models in the games or any other medium. Decidueye's plush obviously doesn't do it justice, but the difference between how it looked in the concept artwork and how it has been adapted into the game/tcg art has been clear from the day it was revealed.
Meanwhile people criticizing Primarina because "I-it has hair??" remind me of people saying Greninja is terrible because "It has a disgusting tongue scarf!".
