I bought this Tomy Hoopa on clearance the other day. I also imported a Shiny Tapu Koko plush, but it's taking its sweet time getting here. It has almost been 3 weeks now.

I want incineroar really bad, but I'm going to wait for a US release unless I get some extra cash from Ebay sales or if someone is generous on my B-day. Buying 1 or 2 $50 plushies each month + high international shipping adds up. The only reason I bought Shiny Tapu Koko was because I was afraid it might be a Japanese exclusive.

I'm gonna pick up the Lillie and Ash nendos I think, they always look great! I was tempted by the Ash/Team Rocket SHF figures, but I kinda lost interest when I saw the painted prototypes… It would be amazing if they did Gen7 starters in SHF form. Need me a posable Icineroar and Primarina.

Yeah I'm hoping it won't be a Pikachu, either. He's FRLG Red, so I reckon it will be the Kanto starters, like they gave him before. I think I misspoke on the style issue. I was wondering if they'll stylize the Pokemon like they did with his Nendoroid version. But figma doesn't really have a style, so they'll probably look like well made Tomys?

The Lapras is pretty nice; definitely one of my favourites. My only complaints are:

a) The neck is under-stuffed and kinda flops. Don't know if it's just mine, or if it's a common problem, but it's always bent a little forward from the weight of its head. Moving it with your hands takes basically no pressure at all and the neck kinda collapses in on itself, rather than moving with the head.

b) The spikes on the shell also have a stuffing problem. You pinch or push on them a little, and all the stuffing gets pushed down, leaving the spikes hollow. Not a massive deal, but kinda annoys me.

Other than that, it's great. Lots of detail, very soft (though the shell is understandably made of a rougher material), looks great.

Yeah, I try to abstain from ordering my plushes as much as possible since if there's a stitching or stuffing annoyance it's not worth returning whereas if I have a set to file through in person I can inspect each and make a call. That's what I did with the Gogoat -- spent about 20 minutes going through the bunch at Nintendo World when I went there but got the best one without loose strings or pieces or weird stitching. My ordered Zekrom has a stitching issue in one part of the tail that can open up a tiny bit as a hole if it's pushed apart, or sometimes is exposed on its own from the weight of the tail depending on how it's held. Luckily my other orders appear fine, but I try to see if Nintendo World gets them nonetheless. Tried calling a few times last month to see if they had the Lapras or any other new stuff but no one picked up, which I chalked up to the Switch release. The order price is pretty good so if they happen to have it there at the same price it'd be even better since no shipping cost.
