So what did /padt/ think of the recent two episodes? I thought there was a huge contrast in quality the first one, I didn't really like to be honest I liked seeing some new Pokémon but that's it. On the other hand the other episode I believe might've been the best episode yet, which is funny considering none of the classmates were in it. Also there's something about people of old age on their deathbed that always hits home, no idea why, which also happened in that Flabébé episode even though that was filler and this wasn't. What's with the use of XY music lately though?

Also I suppose today's M20 news brought a lot of posts from a certain someone that shall remain nameless.

The day when Misty left was pretty much the time when Anime was starting going downhill. It was just not the same show anymore after she left. Brock kinda made Hoenn and Sinnoh interesting, but then when he also left the Anime got even worse than it already was. Unova sucked and everybody knows that and Kalos and Alola are not much Better. What writers should have done was making Ash, Misty and Brock travel to Hoenn and Sinnoh together and as episodes goes by, let them all age and develop. I really don't care despite loving Brock and Misty, hell I wouldn't have cared if it was May, Serena, or who ever the fuck else they could have put in the series.
At the end of the day I'm just glad they seem to be making a movie with a decent concept outside of "NEW MYTHIC POKEMON" for the most part at least.

I've been watching the series in order and i just finished watching the last episode dubbed by 4kids (Pasta La Vista! (Japanese: 格闘道場!サトシVSハルカ! Fighting Dojo! Satoshi VS Haruka!)). according to /vp/ when 4kids stopped dubbing the dub got considerable worse so i'm a bit worried but overall optimistic.

I can't find subbed episodes of most of hoeen or diamond and pearl. I found the entirety of hoeen raw, but that doesn't help me since i don't speak japanese.
Ash and may suddenly had noticeably deeper voices. Ash's make sense cause he kind of sounds like his voice is starting to change but it makes no sense for may. Brock's voice is a little off but it's mostly ignoble on him. They really should have tried to keep the same voice actors for the main characters at least until diamond and pearl.
