Lots of isekai settings are wish fulfillment where the MC has special skills that let him succeed in the new world despite being a loser in his old world. Re:Zero was meant to a deliberate counter to that, with the MC still being a fuckup, but yeah the suffering gets pretty gratuitous. I lost interest in the show halfway through. It was pretty nicely animated and the gimmick was enough to get me to watch it, but it just didn't hold interest.

S1 Green Jacket was less playful and more of a dick
S2 Red Jacket is the main favourite silly Lupin we all know
S3 Pink jacket, I don't know much about him
Green vs. Red has a Red and Green Jacket Lupin appearing and both trying to prove they are the real Lupin

The webm in >>1625532 is from the Episode 0 First Contact movie which is a great starting point since it's pretty much sorta-maybe true story of how the 5 main recurring characters met each other.

The quality of the movie though may make all the other versions pale since it's really good and most Lupin is hit/miss.

Castle of Cagliostro is another place people first experienced Lupin and it's a standalone Miyazaki film

Ultimate was very loyal to the manga and pretty good if you like over-the-top stupid shit and violence. TV started decently but shit the bed and killed itself. It had a good opening and ending, though.
