It is nowhere near AG material. Mega Ray is just a complete monster and on a different level.
Marshadow is almost definitely too good for OU though and might even see regular usage in Ubers because it looks really strong on paper.

One thing I never understood is if GF really wants to keep their pokemon a secret before reveal, why dont they do what smashbros did?Just update them in later. nobody will see it in datamines if its not in the game at all. Lets be real for a minute. Malshadow's going to get banned. Why?

>decent 90,80,90 bulk
>best offensive type combo in the game

>great movepool with tons of coverage
>implying ghost/fighting needs coverage

It's going to suffer the same as Genesect. It's going to get banned within a week for being overcentralizing and live as a NUber for the rest of gen 7. Then it'll get freed for the first week of gen 8, only for it to be sent back to the shadow realm alongside Aegislash and Genesect.

It's funny how the only new legendaries I like are too good for the boring megagross (BAN THIS NOW REEEEEEEEEEE)/tapu/stallfest meta that is OU.

It still should do pretty decent in Ubers. Ubers is filled with ghosts and psychics now anyway, and most of them are less than base 125 speed. I think its Z-crystal may see more use in that tier with 7-soul stealing strike at 195 BP. And it's a great check for E-Killer and SD Arceus-Ghost.

It's only too bad its best counters also exists in ubers (aka Xerneas and Yveltal).
