It's always been shit there's zero drama and little to no reason to watch another episode. Most of the conflicts are usually rushed and solved by the end of the episode which is boring.

I always wanted to see an episode where Pikachu accidentally comes in contact with a thunder stone and a have 3 episode mini story thing where they look for a way to solve pikachu's improvement.

the only thing I can agree with, is the mystery behind Ho-oh's first appearance. It wasn't even a Kanto-mon, but it made you feel the "holy shit, how many mons actually are there?" feeling.

No idea how could they make this happen again, but aside of that, everything seems fun. They stopped pandering the genwunners, and that's always a good thing when we talk about the 20th anniversary of the franchise.

Also Piplup is the greatest water starter ever, so, kudos.

I liked it but, its still flawed. If there's one thing the movie could change that I could appreciate it the first few gym battles where Ash won without actually beating his opponents.

Will it be the plot of the first season but with the two new characters instead of Misty and Brock? Will Marshadow and Ho-oh actually be important to the plot? Is this canon now?
