Does Greninja qualify as "edgy"? 90% of the art i see of him is either cute/dorky or stoic/contemplative. Definitely not the percentage i'd expect for an edgemon. And plus, it has its tongue wrapped around his face. I can't find a way to make that edgy.

Anyways, if Greninja qualifies as edgy, then him. If not, then i guess my favorite edgemon is Scizor.

It would be, I guess.

This word has really changed. Edgy used to refer to things with Gothic and really dark theme. Now it seems to refer to everything, but more precisely to anything with dark colors and things with deceitful in nature. Greninja fits in latter category.

I mean, aren't they? Try to name a single Dark-type that doesn't get called edgy. Even Tyranitar, that doesn't fit any of the categories I mentioned, is being considered edgy.

Stunky/Skuntank are hardly edgy and Murkrow seems fine. I don't really see Vullaby/Mandibuzz as edgy either but they most likely are to others.

this. i've never thought about it much, so i couldn't tell you why exactly, but designs that people would call edgy just appeal to me a lot for some reason.
