The Egg Groups were categorized as such due to their general look. Not all Pokémon make sense in their group. Things like Gardevoir being outside of the Human-like Egg Group and Spinda being in it are example of exceptions to the rule.

You must treat information like this as if it's a biological observation, not something people write into code.
