I never play Gen IV asides of Gen II remakes. So I don't care about DP remake, and practically would be a new game for me.

Kinda unrelated but:

After 20 years, I expected Pokemon as a franchise to not do things so methodically. Why do we have to wait 3 whole years for a new generation? Why do they always take 1 step forward and 2 steps back? Why are things that were perfectly fine in a previous generation discarded just for something new? Why are all the mainline Pokemon games still the same thing all the time? Why do certain Pokemon games have an obvious lack of polishing?
