On topic: Bastiodon. Every time there's a thread on /vp/ about fossil Pokemon, the great majority seems to think that Bastiodon is the worst. It breaks my heart since Bastiodon is actually my favorite fossil Pokemon and probably my favorite Rock-type Pokemon too.

You do know that this thread is about unpopular Pokemon? I fucking dare you to find even a single "Favorite Pokemon of each type" thread here where at least half of the posters don't have Crobat in their list. Crobat is commonly called by the nickname Brobat around here and it seems to be one of the most common Pokemon to be used in in-game teams too, based on the threads where people post their teams. I'm pretty sure Crobat is actually the most popular Pokemon on /vp/, so you couldn't have picked a worse thread for your post.

Crobat ruined golbat. Not terrible but zubat and crobat are much better. I'll never forgive them not keeping the creepy golbat sprite from RB as its canon appearance.

Also THE most used Pokemon in a Nuzlocke. The Nuzlocke Forum has a thread where you can post your final team survivors, and Crobat has the most uses. Crobat is fucking great.

Really, when I went to that thread a while back I wasn't. Crobat is obtainable in the majority of the games, hits fine, decent movepool along with being able to provide Fly convenience and is relatively common.

I really dislike the Stadium2/Colosseum/BR version of Crobat, it looks like a ogre for no reason at all.

It's gotten worse every gen since gen 3, and gotten absolutely nothing to compensate for it. Even its Mega Evolution is an easy contender for least useful Mega, and is a worse Lightningrod holder than several non-Mega Pokemon. Still, it has a fantastic cry, a top-tier design and it belongs to my favorite type. I'll always try to make it work, futile though it seems.
