Eventually developed extensive anxiety and depression issues that caused my mother to make a career switch, one she was not happy with as she took her frustrations out on me. Went to uni, family ends up leaching off of my scholarships and loans, then eventually my mother left her husband and died shortly after. I was born in Washington state and my family moved to Texas where my dad lived. My house was smallish but it had room for most of my uncles on my dad's side. I lived in Leicestershire (where all the chavs and indians live, I lived very close to a rough neighbourhood, I guess, saw some chavs strap a lit firework to a cat through my bedroom window once) in England until I was 14. I was diagnosed with ADHD and autism when I was 4, but wasn't able to be legally medicated until I was 6, which meant those two years were like hell for my mum, as I kept trying to kill my little brother (pushing down the stairs, slamming doors shut on him deliberately).

Once I was taking the medication, this behaviour stopped. I didn't have any friends really until I moved up to a nature reserve (specifically a bird sanctuary, but it also has snakes and otters etc) in Yorkshire. In school I began making friends this time, and made even better friends when I took a year from school to go to college, before returning for 6th form. It was when I went to college that I was taken off of my ADHD medication.

I'd had a few very short term girlfriends at this point (nothing lasted more than a week, except one that lasted 3 months and ended with her cheating on me), but in my last year of school I met my current fiancee and we began dating just before I left school. Six years later, we're engaged and saving up to move in together, and I now work as a support worker for people with disabilities and challenging behaviour.
