I'm a dumbfuck who was trying to install homebrew via instructions and read somewhere that you should update your 3ds before installing it, only to find out afterwards the latest version targets homebrew specifically and I can't use it, it freezes at the red part of the flashing colors loading screen every time and I many many times. Was there a fix for this?

One day a handsome, selfless injector will come along and fulfill all of our desires. We just have to believe. I would, but I have a 2ds and am too inept to hack it.

It literally takes less than five minutes to install a homebrew entrypoint along with it being a piss-easy thing to do. You must be severely brain-damaged, which is surprising considering that you're able to type coherently.

hey everyone, I just installed Homebrew and shit, It honestly is very easy.
However, I don't know how the QR things work, I just import smogons sets on PKHEX and save them on my sd card

They used to work though. I got a good bit of my mons genned back when sun and moon were first released.

GameFAQS trade boards is a really good place to get mons edited and gens. Plus you don't have to worry about people being dicks about it either.

I plan on playing colleseum and heard the pxhex allowes you to transfer pokemon from that game to sun/moon.
How does it work? I've used pkhex before so I know you just load the .sav file but how would it work for the gamecube emulator since there is no save file? Just load the memory card?

I found a spoofer that requires homebrew so you could get past mystery gifts but I wonder, can you use one 3ds to broadcast and receive it without homebrew? Like setting one up as a fake WiFi point or something like that

You can't, the used to have cartridge based distributions where, for example, a game store would get a special cartridge for the game and this would give out the event to the customers, for newer gens it isn't the same and you can't set up your own events as of now, injecting it is the way to go for the events.
