It's one of the top gens for me solely because of the Pokemon designs. Dreams came true with the bug types this gen and Alola forms for the most part are great.

Bird Pokemon still have detailed beaks in new gens and Alola forms pretty much prove they wouldn't depart much from old Gen Pokemon if updating their design
