Yveltal and greninja can do pretty well, as long as you don't use your yveltal against a mew or zapdos you should be fine, and greninja has a huge dodge that let's it be quite annoying.

Metagross is mostly to counter reuniclus team really hard, against deoxis doesn't do much, but it will still save your figures from having to reroll after rolling a purple or a dodge.

I want new story mode stages. I like having something to slowly chip away at during the weeks we don't have gyms. I was kind of hoping there would be an "endless" hotel that seemingly goes on forever. There's no story or cutscenes attached to it but instead you're guaranteed 5-10 new stages every week. It keeps players interested and there's barely any work for the devs to do so it doesn't detract from events. It would be sort of like Pokemon Shuffle's "story" mode.

I'd also like to see actual story progression too, maybe the endless hotel could be an extra. That's what I always imagined was happening in that picture with the hotels. The story progresses through the first 9 hotels and the 10th is just some extra thing that you can do at any time.

the tyrogue AI barely ever plays more than 1 figure on the board at a time, its a lot quicker and can be passed with a single figure while 2_10 plays all of its figure and plates and has a lot of stalling tactics with roars and mp reduction

2_10 only wins in xp/energy very slightly if all the figures on your team are figures you want xp for as well, otherwise 1_1 is more efficient not only in xp/energy but greatly for time spent as well due to how fast the matches are

Greninja is an unreliable jobber and suffers from the same problems as Weavile
Tyranitar requires starting out as a Larvitar to even tie with Deo-A

the advantage you get from running 2 or 3 mews (i would use two) is far greater than the disadvantage of OCCASIONALLY facing a kirlia and OCCASIONALLY having it beat the mew (its not even hugely favoured for it) as well as ocassionally facing normal deoxys when you're far more likely to encounter deoxys teams without them

to put it simply, you'll win far more games by using such strong pieces in this meta than you will lose by sometimes facing a couple of pieces that are slightly favoured against mew

I've used Mew since the Deoxys release and recently got a 2nd. The problem with Mew is that just one of them has an incredible workrate. It is good at doing certain things, and when you create the right matchup, it will do them. It has 3 mp, so it can easily get back up the field to block the Yveltal/Blastoise/etc if it failed to do so the first time.

Running 2 Mew just seems redundant because a single Mew can perform its role so well. Even if there are multiple Pokemon on your opponents team that Mew counters, you can very easily cover them with your other Pokemon, or move your single Mew to fight them after winning one of its matchups.

2 Mew is just going to make you a lot more succeptible to mid-range damage guys like Infernape, Zekrom, Articuno, etc and reduce the diversity of your team to help cover all of the threats in the metagame. A better choice for a second runner would be something like Greninja, which can get a higher damage input and be used for activating dark energy, or one of the Eeveelutions, which are able to significantly punish attackers if you roll Purple, whereas Mew usually only punishes attackers who have a purple attack that its gold can beat.

Mew is a counter to Deo-A. This is indisputable. A losing Mew just has god awful luck.

Metagross isn't that hard to set up, but I do agree his ability should be active from the bench.

Greninja is my dude though. My playstyle is to apply pressure from the start using 3MP figures and Hurdle Jump.
Greninja is great at that.
With the reliable Yellow, he shuts down any Purple based figure from ever wanting to attack.
With his decent Dodge, he can survive a last-ditch attack while in a game winning situation.
Sure, you roll 20-40 with the yellow all the time, but that's what I expect. Never use him as an attacking figure, and you're golden.
