HG/SS are painfully slow and the region's level scaling is horrible in both. Have fun leveling anything over level 40 and not try to kill yourself.

Black/White2 are the games at their peak in quality-of-life and content.

Why would the Pokemon from Kanto, in the exact same routes, be leveled up? GS took place, what, a few years after RBGY? Sure it sucks to get to a new region and demolish things, but we've already established what the Pokemon are and it would ruin canon. They ruined it later on, but at the time they actually cared.

Wild animals don't care about human traditions like starting their journey in a particular town fuckwit. Levels are an abstraction that only serve as a game mechanic. They have nothing to do with canon.

You shouldn't play BW2 if you didn't play BW1 first.
