Yes, there's a lot of potential for it to be really good. Also my girlfriend is from Mexico, so it would be really fun to hear her talk about it and things that happen in it.

Pokémon Sun and Moon should've been in Mexico.
We've got the Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon, and the country is full of lore; plenty of myths and legends from where you could make more Pokémon.

If we go by ruins alone it would have a lot of "dungeons" to explore. Villain...maybe something related to the government or "want to destroy ecosystem lel". Pokés...since MX has like 10% biological Nature it would have a lot of landscapes or pokés. The towns would go from isolated towns to major cities. Would I play it? FUG yes
