I always find it so amazing that people save really low quality images that are badly drawn/painted.

Is it just that you like the character so much that you're blinded that you can't tell how horrible the picture is? Or is it that you are so starved for images that you've lowered your standards.

I'm talking about not only the 90% of images in this thread which are awful, but every thread seems to have such a horrendous ratio of good to bad images.

You posted an a practically "official" art, made by Naoki Saito (tcg and now game freak artist), it's logical that the rest of the arts have less quality than your one.

I absolutely understand that not every artist can have the quality and finesse of a dandonfuga, and I acknowledge that not every piece of art needs to be created with perfect polish.

BUT you didn't answer the first part of my question. Just because there exists better art of a character, doesn't mean it suddenly makes sense that one might save low quality images.

I ask you, has their love blinded them to the poor quality? Or are they simply starved for content?
