You don't. You use Mothim or male Combee, both of which are better.

kricketot is one of the best bug types in LC, because of its massive movepool of 8 moves. string shot+focus sash+endeavor is decent. it also gets bug bite.

My fav set so far is Focus Sash, Endeavor, Mud-Slap/String Shot, Snore and Struggle Bug.

I admit it's hard to setup and very gimmicky, but still a fun set
