Fighting-types themselves are fine, other Special attackers need access to better Fighting-type moves than Focus Blast and Hidden Power.

I'm not talking about any type match ups, more about individual pokemon stats and abilities, but now you actually mention it--the only relevant fighting types in the meta right now are part-bug UBs minmaxed to hell and back. Please let that sink in and tell me again if fighting is still a stellar offensive type in the tapu meta. I'll wait ever so patiently. Thanks
