So I started playing White recently and was getting out of Pinwheel Forest after the skull incident when sudendly this fucking lv. 17 Liligant appears and completely mops the floor with my team.
Between Leech Seed, Mega Drain, Synthesis and Teeter Dance wich causes confusion all my pokemon fell one by one and any damage I managed to cause she just recovered like nothing.
I threw a super ball as a last resort even though her health was full and to my surprise it worked!
Now I want to have her in my team after the experience but it appear that Liligant can't learn many moves after evolving, and it's impossible for it to learn Giga Drain. So what do you think? How long before it becomes better to have an evolved Petilil I trained?

You can only get QD on a Petilil at lv.27 I think, sorry anon but that Lilligant is useless.

I thought it was giga drain and sleep powder that were locked to petilil, don't remember having to hold off evolution of my petilil in gen 5 for QD, only had to hold off evolution for giga drain

Time to fill my autism quota for the day

One of my favorite moments playing Pokemon starred Lilligant. Was Nuzlocking White ver, and things were going well until Mistralton. Between Chargestone Cave and Celestial Tower I managed to lose nearly all of my Pokemon, as well as all my backup Pokemon. Only Lilligant and Leavanny remained, and the gym was up next. I figured the run was over; two grass types against an army of flying type Pokemon? Nevertheless, I prepped as best I could and gave it a shot.

The general strategy was to hope for a lot of crits with Scope Lens Leavanny, while Lilligant provided Sleep Powder/Leech Seed support. Before this point I had never really used X items, and I was pleasanty suprised with how effective they are. They always seemed like a waste of time, but I suppose they are in a normal playthrough as you're rarely in such a shitty situation.
In the end, after spending my stock of healing wares and boosting items, we managed to defeat Skyla and claim the badge. I honestly felt proud of the two of them, which sounds rather silly now that I write it out. But I don't recall ever being that invested while playing Pokemon, and haven't again since. Ended up failing the run not too long after, don't remember how exactly but it was before the next gym.

I still have the Lilligant. On X version right now so maybe I'll get her a few ribbons for the hell of it. Sadly I seem to have misplaced Leavanny. I can't find her in any of my games or in Pokebank. I lost several Pokemon a while back when my SD card shit itself and I lost my Y save, so maybe that's what happened. RIP

Lilligant looks like a third stage. I will never get used to the lack of a pokemon between Petilil and Lilligant.

Flowers are often associated with femininity, and Lilligant pulls it off with more subtlety than other humanoid flower pokemon by having her plant parts resemble a dress without straying from being a plant. The most non-plant thing about it is the presence of eyes.
It's a design that really works.

Thanks. It actually wasn't that hard. Lilligant's movepool had me worried but contests are much easier than I remember them being in the original R/S.

I lost Sleep Powder for good though, didn't realize it was a Petilil only move. Fuck you move relearner
