I think it's only weavile's fault in the sense that weavile was actually usable so people remembered it

I used one in crystal as a starter in my dark monotype run.
It was amazing.
I also made a point to beat silvers sneasel with it.

I ended up overleveling like fuck to beat just the fighting gym and fighting e4

I loved Sneasel ever since it first came out in G/S. But then it was fucking terrible because Dark was all-Special.

Someone at Game Freak must love it as much as I do though because it just gets better and better.
