I feel like GF isnt giving out Drain Punch anymore. It's like they want to keep it semi-exclusive to Conkeldurr, which I don't mind, but I really want Machamp to be viable again through some other way. Dude hasn't received any significant buff since Gen 4 and his only niche (NG+DP) even got nerfed this gen due to confusion. Meanwhile the other three original trade evos have gotten stat boosts and/or megas/Alolan forme. It's legitimately not fair

And you're missing the point. This set seems decent but it does not take away the fact that Machamp is outclassed by too many fighting types. Even Conkeldurr is now only UU

This set is the one I use in VGC, and it actually works really well. Changing Bullet Punch for Stone Edge might work, but I highly prefer the Steel coberture it grants me. And yeah, it might be not the best, but its not the worst either. Stills better than Hitmonlee, Hitmonchan, Hitmontop, and I'd say its better than Mienshao too. Anyway, I use Machamp more than Conkeldurr just because No Guard. Fighting type is really fucked up this gen. Pray for Gen 8 buffs, its the only thing we can do.
