Cobras are more associated with water in Hinduism, and would probably work better as a water/psychic starter. If you wanted a fire cobra, you could base it on a wadjet/uraeus or a seraph(angels often described as serpentlike dragons in some obscure texts).

Just pls let there actually be a Starter that eventually ends up as a legit dragon type tho and not temporarily like Megas
Feel kinda sad for Sceptile since it didn't get a secondary typing unlike its other starter counterparts and Serperior just kinda hurts to look at.
Fire/Electric feels really exotic imo so it be cool on a starter and not leave Rotom entirely alone.
I never expected that Decidueye would end up as a Ghost type, so maybe in the future it'd be nice with a new fully evolved starter that is part Flying type
