Today I'll be posting our updates to some of the older maps, work a new guy has been doing, the finalized Vivace, and then a couple WIP things we have going on.

Here's the confirmed Vivace. Upper Area got a whopping 93% of the vote.

As a side note, the gate to Route 12 is not blocked, and Route 12 and the Daycare are accessible immediately. You won't be able to go onto Routes 15 and 16 from there, though.

It did not. Its wings are made of ethereal space stuff, the rest are fragments of stone. i.e. purplish and brownish

It looks more exaggerated there because the gif is set in the afternoon, which has a brown/orange tint. The stone form is completely stone with no space.

It's 90 bp, which is as much as ice beam and flamethower, which in the GF games always look pretty powerful.

It's also a recoil move, so it should look extra forceful.

IMO, it seems about right damage wise, for, say, headbutt, but the "shrinking, then release" effect on the user sprite really doesn't communicate it being a charging tackle move for either double edge/take down, or even headbutt.

I'd modify the "start up" part of the animation to rather have the user sprite "backing up" into the foreground, turning red while doing so, then charging foward, with much larger/more intricate impact effects on the enemy sprite.

The current "shrink-release" effect on the user sprite would be IMO more suited to thrash, rage, outrage, or swagger, though all of those would need additional changes as well.

Well, Pounther species name is litterally the "jungle cat pokemon", that and various dex entries mention specific locations/biomes, so for those, you should at least try to honor them.

Right, but the exact visual direction of unmade maps is up in the air. You can guess and try to plan ahead and keep that in mind but untill those maps get made you can't 100%. Route 10 wasn't originally going to be beachside, route 9 wasn't originally going to be wet and rainy, etc. Stuff changes, and many of those changes would and have impacted distros.

I'm not saying you guys should juse change distros every demo or whatever but if somebody thinks that a retroactive change should happen and they have semi decent reasons for it you guys should at least be open to considering it.

Desert used to be about 4x as big. We already downsized it once. Caesura is a relatively small outpost and is considered the exit into the grasslands. The desert is intended to be a hard part of the game.
