Mfw S/M became succesful in sales and GF will try to copy it.

every pokemon game is successful in sales except maybe the spinoffs

>Kanto pandering will be substituted by Alola pandering, which is full of Kanto pandering
I'm not sure if I want this
>>32106603
>Kanto pandering will be substituted by Alola pandering, which is full of Kanto pandering
How would that even work? Double Pandering?
>>32106592
Comapred to other gens, S/M did exceptionally well.
>>32106592
Sun and Moon selling way more than Gen 5 and 6 will have an impact, anon. I'm partially okay with it, as they can feel more free to change the formula a bit more as they go forward
>>32106603
>pandering a fairly new gen instead of a 20+ year old one that gf has been pandering to for years
I'd be fine with it
>>32106613
Pandering to a pandering generation which abused pandering. I'm not sure how that would work out though
miss me yet?
Please no, as much as I liked the new designs the game itself was rushed and had a Yokai Watch feel to it.
>>32106695
Assuming you were going to post a pic of a previous gen, no. I enjoyed SM quite a bit, it would just be nice if they made some improvements in the next games.
They felt a little rushed sure but they're leagues better than X and Y and I'd take alola pandering over kanto and kalos pandering any day.
>>32106622
Got a source on that? GF tends to keep their sales numbers close to the chest.
>>32106659
Pandering^3?
>Gens 6 and 7 outsold Gens 4 and 5, despite being on less popular consoles for their time
>Neither gen 6 or 7 had good post-games and were only somewhat worth playing if you're a competitivefag
>GameFreak will never give us a good post-game because they'll believe all pokemon fans care about is competitive and breeding
>If the next games end up being Kanto sequels, they will outsell Sun and Moon because muh genwun
>Nonstop genwun pandering throughout the remainder of the franchise
Thanks, GameFreak and Smogon.
>>32108981
Smogon only cares about their sim.
Blame vgc.
>>32106695
yes anon, i miss, our wild nights of violent sex together, those were the days
why did you have to go anon?
>>32107270
We have hard sales numbers for all the DS and 3DS games except SM outside of Japan, and we'll get them for SM whenever the next yearly Nintendo investor meeting is
>>32106698
>Comparing a shitfest to Yokai Watch an actually fun game.
Fuck you anon and every anon who looks like you
>>32106698
Having played both, I don't feel it. The title cards for the Z-Moves are clearly inspired by Level-5 stuff, most egregiously Inazuma Eleven, but it ends there.
And while Yo-kai Watch is a big step down from past Level-5 titles for me--I can replay any Inazuma Eleven or Danball Senki title any day while I have no real desire to ever revisit the first two Yo-kai Watch games--I'd still say it's got a lot more to like in it than SM if you can get past the absolutely cancerous gacha mechanics.
