While Alolan Slash is not amazing it at least has a legit niche as the best Slush Rush Pokemon in the game, and it's also the only fully evolved Pokemon with the Ice/Steel typing so far

It MUST be said that Alolan Exeggutor is the best Pokémon for getting items and SOS Battles thanks to Worry Seed, but it MUST also be said that Kadabra (and Alakazam) can learn Role Play making Alolan Exeggutor's only use as a item catcher (it can also learn Thief).

Honestly Alolan Exeggutor fits better as a physical attacker. It can learn Dragon Hammer (a decent move) and Seed Bomb (also a decent move).
