There are so many sound and music based pokemon, moves, and abilities that it's silly at this point to ridicule the people that think it can actually be a type.

People have justified their opposition with that argument that "all pokemon make sound!" but all pokemon can also be "dark" (aka evil) and every single Pokemon in the franchise fights whether they are fighting type or not so it's not a big deal.

The only problems I see is that many the potential sound types are already a non normal dual type (Noivern for example is a Flying/Dragon with 3 abilities so it can't even get a 3rd STAB like Dhelmise) or legendaries whose typings won't be touched, "sound" is not as marketable as "fairy", and a new typing most likely wouldn't be balanced properly.

Cosmic-type should be a thing tho. That almost every space-themed Pokemon are Psychic pisses me off, especially the Gen VII box legends.
