It's incredible that people actually think Primals are going to be a recurring thing and not just a one off gimmick for ORAS. IF they remake DP there probably won't be megas either.

Pokemon is built off spinoffs. They built the franchise, then let a few companies have freedom to play around with it. When they did something that worked, the used it in main series games.

Abilities were in the TCG before main series games, to give an example.

Arceus - Omega Forme
Require a Z-crystal to activate the forme
Type - Depends on Z-crystal
Ability - World One: Stats cannot be increased or decrease and all stat changes are reset when the pokemon enters the battlefield; stats altering items does not work (eviolite, Assault Vest, etc.).
Auras, weathers, Terrains, Rooms (Magic, Wonder, Trick) are deactivated and cannot activate as long as this pokemon remains on the battlefield.
Base Stats: 135/135/135/135/135/135
Judgement becomes the same type as Z-crystal. Z-Judgement become Final Judgement and with 250BP which calculates damage based on half the target's total defenses.
If the Z-crystal is Normalium-Z, effect become: ???-type and reduce opponent HP to 1 and heal Arceus-Omega Forme by the damage Z-Final Judgement dealt.
Z-Final Judgment (Normal) can be completely blocked by Detect, Protect, King's Shield, Baneful Bunker, Spiky Shield, and Mat Block.
